Okay, can I just say how much FUN I've had this week? I like to make learning fun, and I've been able to go onto Pinterest and look up crafts and games and even pranks which I can use at my present job (doing homework with Francophone elementary school students.

I have to confess that in the week we had to work with social media, I was very set that I was not going to like Twitter, so I went on it and got what I needed, but really didn't participate. This past weekend, I downloaded Twitter as I participated in a general conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints... it was SO amazing to see people all over the world that shared their thoughts, concerns, applications, etc of the content being presented all weekend! As I ponder the role of something like Twitter in education, I think to myself: students could use something like this when they're doing homework! They can tell each other what helped them, if they find a good online calculator for math or a good online dictionary, etc! or simply find a funny video on a study break... Then, again, we get into... what if inappropriate or irrelevant things are shared? ... always an issue I guess...
